Free Yard Sticks

Today I used my free yard stick from the state fair to measure the snow in our backyard. 

9.5 inches of snow. 

It's pretty. When I was little, this much snow would have thrilled me. Can you imagine the snow forts? It feels like growing up there was never enough snow to make a snow fort.  But right now I just want spring already. I'm getting stir crazy.
